This month’s kit is inspired by calm, cool waters. I’ve always been drawn to waters; lakes, the sea, being around water gives me a sense of calm. I wanted to give this kit a sense of calm too.

So what’s in the kit!?

PAINT

OCEAN EYES - A beautiful colour shift paint - magically changing from blue to green as it catches the light.

MIDNIGHT WATERS -  A mysterious deep dark shimmer blue.

NAVY WAVES - A cool navy - opaque

DEEP LAKE - A dark green/blue teal - semi transparent

STICKERS

You have two sheets of stickers. Firstly, you have a set of square stickers of my watercolour lake landscapes. You also have a sheet of watercolour circles with calm inspired words! I hope you enjoying using them both,

JOURNAL CARD

You have a journal card of one of my ‘Calm Waters’ watercolour art work.  Perfect for adding to journal spreads or using as a ‘tip in.’

Exclusive ‘Calm Waters’ PIGMENT POWDER - COLOUR BURST

A little pot of colour magic! Sprinkle the smallest amount (literally a few grains) onto paper and spray with water and watch the blues and green colours burst. The more water you add, the more blended the colours will be.

SILVER LEAF

Tips for use - apply the adhesive to the parts you want the silver leaf. (I like to add little touches to watercolour art work in my journal spreads,) Leave the adhesive for at least 15 mins, it will remain tacky. Place pieces of the silver leaf onto the tacky adhesive, gently press with finger and then use a dry paint brush to gently brush the excess leaf off.

COLLAGE ELEMENTS

You have a range of calm water inspired collage elements this month. I really enjoy combining watercolour and collage in my spreads.

  • A piece of wax paper, hand painted with blue and green alcohol inks.
  • A piece of tomoe river paper with a printed blue/green watercolour abstract art work.
  • A  piece of tissue paper in a water inspired design.
  • A piece of hand dyed sari
