A good way to try out the AMONGST THE STARS palette with a fun activity included!                                              

CONTENTS:

- Dot card with a generous blob of each of the 4 colours in the palette 

- Sticker sheet - pre-cut circles ready to add watercolour paint to. Some with mountains and some blank circles. (Second picture is examples of stickers that have been painted)

- 4 X watercolour paper pieces

- White gel pen (can be used to add stars) optional 

PALETTE INFORMAION:

This palette is inspired by my love of painting watercolour galaxies. There are my go to colours when painting them.

OUTER IDIGO - Indigo has always been one of my favourite colours to have in my watercolour palette. I love its intensity. It is perfect for adding contrast to my colourful abstracts, for shadows in realistic painting and of course for galaxies. The indigo in this set is made from a natural pigment desired from the plant Indigofera Tinctoria.

DEEP SPACE BLUE - This beautiful deep blue is made using Ultramarine pigment It is semi-transparent. I use it when painting lighter blue patches of starry skies/galaxies.

MAGENTA NEBULA - Made with Quinacridone Magenta pigment, transparent with excellent lightfastness. I love adding touches of bright pinks to my watercolour galaxies, and this rich magenta does that perfectly. Purples are also great to use in galaxies and can be created when mixing the magenta with ‘Deep Space Blue’ or ‘Outer Indigo’.

AURORA BLUE GREEN - This is made from Phthalo pigment, which is one of my favourite colours in my watercolour palettes. It is also great to use to add cooler tones to galaxy paintings.
