This kit is inspired by my love of words! I Just love words! I’ve had passion for journals and books for as long as I can remember, and something I particularly love, is combining images and text, and in this kit you have plenty to do just that.
So what’s in the kit? PAINT
KRAFT - A warm creamy neutral matt beige
SUGAR PAPER - A vibrant matt purple
BIRO - A granulating matt blue/black
CALLIGRAPHY - A shimmering golden bronze, with a subtle pink colour shift
STICKERS
You have two sheets of Little Rainbow Moon stickers. You have a set of collage style words. You also have a selection of simple back and white words; I love adding these types of stickers to my journal pages, I like the contrast of really colourful backgrounds and simple black and white words. You also have 4 sheets of letter stickers; perfect for adding titles and words to journal spreads.
JOURNAL CARDS
You have 6 journal cards.
COLLAGE PAPERS
You have a selection of collage style papers, I think these would be great for tearing off pieces to add to spreads.
You also have a sheet of letters, for you to cut out to make your own words.
JOURNAL PROMPTS
You have a glassine bag containing journal prompts printed on vellum. Sometimes it’s nice to have a journal focus. challenge yourself to choose a prompt and just let the words flow!
STENCIL
You have a letter stencil. Stencils can be used in a variety of ways:
- Use a pen through the stencil to trace the letters
- Use a sponge dabbed in acrylic paint to press the paint through the stencil
- Lay the stencil over a dry watercolour background and use a baby wipe through the stencil to lift the paint
